Daniel James Dupont, carrying on business as CommentProtect ("CommentProtect", "we", "us", or "our"), is the contracting party that provides the CommentProtect service under these Terms of Service.
Agreement and Eligibility
By creating an account, accepting these terms, or using CommentProtect, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. You must be able to form a binding agreement and, when acting for an organization, have authority to bind that organization. Keep registration and billing details accurate and do not let another person use your credentials.
Service Scope
CommentProtect processes Facebook and Instagram comments and replies available through authorized Meta APIs. Direct-message and Messenger inbox functionality is not part of the current launch. The service also does not support Facebook groups, personal profiles, non-Meta platforms, bulk likes, auto-likes, public API access, Zapier, or comment assignment unless a future written agreement explicitly adds those features.
Trials, Billing, and Usage
Controlled-access accounts may receive an evaluation window before moving to a paid plan. Plan tiers use the same core toolkit and scale by monthly comment volume; provider-backed features such as AI and translation require live configuration and may be unavailable. Processing may pause when evaluation access expires, payment fails, or monthly usage exceeds the active plan limit.
Paid plans are recurring monthly subscriptions until canceled. Stripe displays the price, taxes, renewal timing, and any proration before checkout or a plan change. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the billing portal; a scheduled cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Processed charges are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly approved by CommentProtect.
Automations and Third-Party Services
CommentProtect reacts after Meta delivers an event; it cannot guarantee that unwanted content is hidden before anyone sees it. Meta, Stripe, email, AI, and translation services are operated by third parties and can change, delay, restrict, or discontinue their APIs. You authorize CommentProtect to take the actions you configure on connected accounts, and you remain responsible for reviewing rules, permissions, and automated or AI-assisted output before enabling higher-impact actions.
User Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for keeping account access secure, connecting only pages they are authorized to manage, reviewing AI-generated content before sending when auto-replies are disabled, maintaining lawful notices and permissions for the data they process, and complying with Meta Platform Terms and applicable laws. You may not use the service to violate another person's rights, distribute malware or spam, evade platform limits, probe or disrupt the service, or resell access without written permission.
Availability, Suspension, and Changes
The service is provided on an availability basis and may have maintenance windows, provider outages, or defects. We may limit or suspend access to protect the service, comply with law or provider requirements, address nonpayment, or stop misuse. We may update the service or these terms; material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, where required, additional notice or renewed acceptance.
Termination and Data
You may stop using the service and can schedule subscription cancellation through the billing portal. Account export and deletion requests are available through the GDPR portal after verification. Deletion is subject to the published retention process and any records we must keep for security, billing, disputes, or legal compliance. Termination does not erase payment obligations already incurred.
Disclaimers and Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CommentProtect is provided "as is" and without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. CommentProtect does not guarantee moderation accuracy, customer response outcomes, platform availability, or business results. Neither you nor Daniel James Dupont is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages under these terms where that exclusion is lawful. Nothing here limits liability that applicable law does not permit a party to exclude.
Meta Non-Affiliation
CommentProtect is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc. Facebook and Instagram are trademarks of their respective owners.
Support and Account Requests
Billing questions, legal notices to Daniel James Dupont, carrying on business as CommentProtect, and access issues should be sent through the support page. Data exports and account deletion requests can be started from the GDPR portal and are handled according to the privacy policy and data-retention process after verification.
